HEALING RETREAT

Encountering the healing love of Jesus Christ.

We all need the healing love of Christ to wash over us and free us from things that keep us from becoming the man or woman God created us to be.  In this time in particular, when so many have experienced different forms of tribulation and trial, it is a grace for a person to recognize that they do need the healing touch of Jesus Christ.  

RETREAT - ATTENDED IN TWO WAYS:

1. IN person:  stay the night, 3 meals a day attend all the talks in person, time with a licensed practicing counselor, Mass, Confession, Spiritual Direction, quiet time in the adoration chapel

2. Commute: everything above except spend the night at home.  You can partake of any meal.

A series of 8 talks given by the Retreat Presenters

Mass each day

Opportunity for Confession and/or Spiritual Direction 

Opportunity to meet with a licensed practicing counselor 

Concluding with a Healing Service and Mass of Thanksgiving

Plenty of quiet time to listen to God.

Each in person retreatant will enjoy a double occupancy room with private bath. All linens and towels will be provided. Three full home cooked meals provided each day, with ample snacks available throughout the weekend. 

Arrival Time: Friday 4:30pm-5:00pm

Retreat begins: Friday 5:30pm. Ends by 2:00pm Sunday.

Friday

4:30-5:30pm- Register and Check-In

5:30pm- Pre-Orientation: Dining Room

6:00pm - Dinner

7:00pm  - First Talk: Intro to Healing (Sr. Caritas)

7:30pm Break

7:45pm - Second Talk: Our Hearts Cry, "Abba!" - God the Father as the origin of your being and completion of life. (Fr. Peter)

8:15pm - Break

8:30pm - Renewal of Baptismal Vows (Fr. Peter)

9:00pm- Night Prayer and retire for the evening

Saturday

7:50am- Morning Prayer: 1st Floor Chapel

8:00am- Breakfast

8:45am- Third Talk: Seven deadly sins and seven deadly wounds - How to use the Sacrament of Confession for Healing and Restoration (Angie Windnagle)

9:30am - Break

10:00am - Fourth Talk: Unforgiveness and Childhood Trauma - Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us (Dr. Erica)

11:00am - Possible Counseling, Spiritual Accompaniment Time 

12:00 pm- Mass under the Big Blue Dome (Fr. Peter)

12:45pm Lunch

1:30 - Fifth Talk:  Healing from Anxiety through trust in God (Dr. Ronda Chervin)

2:00pm - Break

2:15pm - Sixth Talk: Theophostic prayer – Jenny Percy - Conference Room

3:00pm - Counseling, Spiritual Accompaniment Time 

- Confession available to those in person

6:00pm - Dinner

7:00pm - Eucharistic Adoration Healing Service with prayer and music 

8:00pm - Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament with the evening free for reflection after night prayer

8:30 am- Seventh Talk: Living in the Freedom of the Children of God - "Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom" 2 Corinthians 3:17 (Fr. Peter)

12:15pm Evaluation and Group Sharing
